Samsung B9000 HDTVs

Samsung has recently announced 46″ and 55″ HDTVs from the B9000 series that are actually sequels of the A950 models released sometime last year. These additions offer LED backlights alongside localized dimming to ensure you get the sharpest image possible, while Media 2.0 with YouTube/Yahoo! Widgets support add another dimension of interactivity. A built-in USB port allows you to view your favorite photos over a big screen, while DLNA functionality and a wireless connection to the external media box further adds to the overall desirability of the product. Too bad Samsung has not revealed important information such as pricing or availability, but that’s just a matter of time really.

Philips Cinema LCD TV

Philips is pretty active today, and here is yet another product released by them – the widescreen Philips Cinema 21:9 LCD TV. At that aspect ratio, you can expect a true blue cinematic experience right in the comfort of your living room, although you will first have to part with €4000 for it when it is available sometime later this June throughout Europe. Detailed specifications are currently unavailable, although we’ll do our level best to bring them to you once we’ve uncovered them.

ASUS 16:9 VH-series LCDs

Another batch of 16:9 LCD-panel monitors reveled today. Asus has announced a family of four monitors ranged from 18-5” to 23.6-inch with increasingly popular 16:9 widescreen panel that maximizing production efficiency, but crop out chuck of resolution compare to a 16:10 panel. All four piano-black models are capable of boasting 300 cd/ms2 luminance brightness, and are designed to deliver deep black movies playback and ultimate gaming experiences thanks to its aggressive dynamic contrast feature and ultra fast panel response rate.

Though restrained with its narrow view angles of 160/170 (TN panel), Asus VH series LCDs are good candidates for multimedia display. It’s said to equip with Asus’s exclusive Splendid Video Intelligence technology (dynamic color and contrast control) and manage to deliver stellar performance despite its green power designs.

Yeah, the name is Giorgio Armani…and he has designed a new LCD TV alongwith Samsung for the Giorgio-Casa showoff. The size ranges are 46 inches and 52 inches.There are two remotes available, a backlight remote and a non-ordinary pebble remote that gives a summarised set of functions. Getting away from the conventional 50 hz , this tv is a full 100hz frequency operational. There is no sure information on the pricing, but a price range of 50k is to be expected by Armani fans.

JVC introduced two new ultra TVs

JVC have released two new LCD TV’s with integrated tuner. The dimensions of the new sets are only 39mm deep, with the maximum part of the panel measuring 74mm. They come in two versions of a 42-inch and 46-inch. Both versions are Full HD and will hit the shelves at 1300 – 1650 euros respectively.
