Toshiba DV Series LCD TV Integrated DVD Player

Toshiba has released it’s first HD-Ready LCD TV with a DVD player. The TV displays on a HD 720p resolution with external connectivity coming from its HDMI cable – specs include 170 degree viewing angles with contrast ratios of up to 1000:1. The audio of the TV set is both Dolby Digital and DTS Digital sound while the DVD player gets support for CD, MP3, DivX and JPEG. The screen size is purposfullly small, at 19 and 22-inch. The intention is that its sleek finishes and small size will make it ideal for modern homes. The TV is fitted with a DVD player and all tuning of station’s is fully digital. It has four pre-set picture modes (Sport, Movie, Standard and Memory) with three colour presets.
The TV will be available in two colours, piano black and high gloss white, and is to go on sale from October 2008.
LG Scarlet LG6100, its thinnest LCD

LG has launched LCD Tv thinnest compared to previously released in this segment. This LCD Tv has a thickness of 45 millimeters. Really thin than others. The screen size of new LG6100 is 43 inches.
The new version of LG Scarlet LG6100 reaches Full HD resolution of 1080 px, a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1, 100hz which is said to be high end definition screen. This includes 4 HDMI ports, speakers integrated into screen.
