Smartpill is an ingestable , wireless capsule that measures pressure,  pH and temperature as it floats along intastainal tract. It passes on the data to the receiver worn by the patient. After the use the doctor can download the data from receiver to his PC and analyse the test results.

Gizmos like these are getting used in the mecical industry, which will definitely increase the standards to yet another height…

Micro Camera in Mouse’s Brain

A Micro camera has been implanted in a mouse’s brain that will keep track of its behaviour and also report ailments like parkinson tremors and its being implanted in the hippocampus region of the mouse’s region.The team at Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan are using the 0.1-inch-long camera to look for information on brain activity that causes tremors. They hope the results may lead to better treatments for Parkinson’s disease, and if successful they may also experiment with humans. We can’t imagine how strange it would be to know your brain’s being watched from inside your head.

RoboTic Medical SpyPlanes

They act as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles that help in delivering medical aid to the soldiers in enemy territory and also help in spying. They are plane-like in shape and can carry drugs upto 10kg or roundabout, thus helping the soldiers in their time of grievance. They have a wingspan of 13mm and can fly upto 800mts high. Pretty high, will do I say. They can sometimes go unnoticed by the radar too if they are shaped in an anti-radar body material, one used for spyplanes like the Black Bird of the US army.
