Flying Alarm Clock

strange gadgets

Find it hard to wake up in the morning? This clock should definitely get you on your feet. At the appointed time, it goes off with a loud ( and extremely annoying )siren and launches a rotor into the air that flies around the room. Even if you hit the snooze button, it will take off again, so it will undoubtedly get you out of bed. In order to turn it off you have to get up, find the rotor and place it back on the clock.

Be warned. Don’t use this if you have an open window by your bed or if your room-mate is a former viet war vet given to ” ‘Nam flashbacks “.

Just pull the cord/USB cable till it is fully extended and it snaps a photo. Estimated street price is $69.

strange gadgets

While not exactly a gadget, it can be very useful for those who often travel to places where you don’t know to speak the native language. This is the weirdest of them all. Why would anyone need a day clock ? People on vacation do tend to lose track of what day it is. This is best suited for laid back fellows who lose track of the day.

the only problem with the t shirt is that information signs look different in different countries, so its possible that some might be unidentified by natives. Also, the ball camera, what if it bounces on the lens? I dont want a dark picture of the floor.

  5. Electric Cigarettes on February 24th, 2010 11:00 pm

All of these gadget seem scary useful. However I particularly liked the brief case. That is so gross but no one is going to rumage through them to find cash. I wonder if the stain is man made?

The only problem with the t-shirt is that you might as well be wearing one that says “I am foreign. Shoot me and then rob me…please.”

    Need that toaster though.

I like the toaster, looks wicked. I normally peer down the top of the toaster to see if the bread it toasted nicely, I don’t like to rely on the popping up method. By visualizing the bread would make it so much easier.

Ugh, I got the alarm clock as a gift, but when I tried to replace the propeller bak on, the alarm wouldn’t stop. I don’t recommend it, unless you like taking the batterie out every morning.

  18. Anon on January 31st, 2011 4:29 pm

The toaster is only a mock-up. It doesn’t actually exist, nor does the tech to create it

  19. Miguel on February 8th, 2011 1:40 pm

  23. the shashi on February 16th, 2011 3:52 pm

but the toaster only fits one peice of toast, doubling the amount of time if your rushing……so the excuse for using it to not burn toast while your rushing and could forget is kinda dumb.if you eat more then one slice of toast that is.but like they say,its the thought tht counts i guess haha.good list tho.

  24. Anon on February 18th, 2011 7:54 am

The travelers t-shirt seems cool, but as a buxom chick, I wonder what kind of reaction I’d get by continuously pointing to my chest. Everything else looks really useful though!
